Engen 4×4 Track
In February 2019 the old 4×4 track was removed to provide additional exhibition space. A new 4×4 track at was built with the support of Môreson Grondverskuiwers. The new 4×4 track, with its extreme 4×4 section, was utilised for the first time at Nampo Cape 2019.
Engen operates the 4×4 demonstrations during the annual Nampo Cape Agricultural Trade Show in September at the track.
Recurrent use of the Engen 4×4 Track
Bredasdorp Park received inquiries from local 4×4 enthusiasts to utilise the Engen 4×4 track for recurrent 4×4 events. These 4×4 Days can take place throughout the year, excluding the period 15 August to 30 September annually. At these events, participants will pay a fee to drive their own vehicles on the Engen 4×4 track.
Terrain Tamer 4×4 Weekends
Terrain Tamer SA entered into an agreement with Bredasdorp Park NPC to host 4×4 weekends throughout the year. The first such weekend took place in November 2021 where 4×4 enthusiasts form all over the Western Cape got together at Bredasdorp Park with their families for a fun filled weekend of 4×4 driving both at the Engen 4×4 track and 4×4 routes in the Cape Agulhas area.
